Our Premium Pure range is made from a luxury composite Cotton Sateen fabric of 98% cotton and 2% elastin. The fabric is made with a satin weave, using cotton instead of silk, giving it a lustrous, smooth feel and glossy sheen with a bit of stretch for function.
Cotton Sateen is usually made from cotton, using a long-fibre, combed or carded variety which is then mercerised. This alters the chemical structure of the cotton fibre and causes swelling of the cell wall of the cotton fibre. This then brings much of the lustre and softness to the end-product, as well as making the cotton fibre more receptive to dye.
The fabric is sturdy and has a beautiful, voluminous drape. The Cotton Sateen also has a distinct but subtle lustre, which gives it a luxurious (but not flashy) appearance. On top of that, it doesn’t crease as much as other types of pure cotton, meaning there's less ironing required to prepare your scrubs for the workday.

ABOUT THE FIT
Our Scrubs are more fitted and tailored than standard style scrubs.
We can happily assist with sizing recommendations however it is up to the buyer to make sure they have chosen the correct size.

Our Active and Premium ranges are machine washable in cold water with a mild detergent. Our Elegant range requires a cold hand-wash. Avoid detergents with optical brighteners as they are harmful to the colour of your garments. Bright colours to be washed separately as certain shades may run. We advise washing like colours together. We recommend using a cool to warm press. GREENS MEDI cannot be held liable for garments that are incorrectly washed or pressed.

YES all of the fabric we use is breathable – we know how busy healthcare professionals get and we know that you need to keep cool under pressure.

For custom orders, our standard production lead time is approximately 15 working days. Shipping takes 1-4 days for major centres.
